Drawn to the beautiful city of Ho Chi Minh for its vibrancy, transformations and access to out-of-this-world abundance of fresh, quality food, Chef Alvin is seeking to nurture a local team of passionate chefs who desire growth, opportunity and advancement. Forward thinking as to Kitchen Management and Team Relations, he values a happy, productive team striving their very best in a supportive, nurturing environment.
With over a decade in Culinary Arts and having honed his craft at Michelin-star establishments the world over, Chef Alvin had the privilege of being part of the opening team at two new restaurants, both going on to garner Michelin-star recognition, and one of which receiving its Two-star, at launch, and during Alvin's tenure.

Pastry Sous Chef - 01 positions
Under the nurturing guidance of our Executive Chef who refined his training and skills in a number of Michelin Three-star establishments in Singapore and France prior to setting foot in Saigon, we are looking to groom a SOUS CHEF and PASTRY SOUS CHEF

Your growth and scope of excellence include:
• Assisting in the development of seasonal menus and original recipes;
• Training, Mentorship & Management of Kitchen Brigade team;
• Creating, Fostering and Maintaining a positive, productive working environment;
• Taking charge of Purchasing;
• Second-in-command in overseeing daily kitchen operations;
• Ensuring quality control of dishes and ingredients;
• Manage administration and inventory of the Kitchen;
• Upholding the highest level of cleanliness in line with the latest health, hygiene and safety standards
The ideal candidate should be:
• Experienced in Western Fine Dining Kitchens and knowledge + networks of local markets
• Significantly experienced in similar roles as part of the Kitchen Management Team
• Able to communicate with Executive Chef in English; Be proficient in delegating duties in Vietnamese
• Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Well Disciplined and Firm, yet personable with the ability to command the respect and following of your Kitchen Brigade
• Knowledgeable of Kitchen Hygiene practices and Health Safety protocols + Restaurant Operational laws and regulations
